Caring Community

Help us help our community by participating in Caring Committee projects.

The Caring Community Committee brings support and connection to members of our congregation who could benefit from a helping hand.  One great way in which congregants can support our work is by being our eyes and ears and letting us if particular congregants who might benefit from our services.

We also need volunteers to

  • make home or hospital visits
  • provide meals for those who are ill
  • lead shiva minyan services
  • make meaningful connections with TBJ members

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Cantor Stahl at 973-379-1555, x6623 or hstahl@tbj.org.

Passover 2012 Open Your Doors….

Passover is a time when we recall the Israelites’ journey — our journey — from slavery to freedom.  We read from the hagaddah, we ask the four questions, we eat plenty of matzah ball soup, and we recline at our seder tables.

To make sure that every one of our congregants has a seder table at which to sit:  if you are looking for a seder to be a part of on Friday, April 6th, or if there is an extra chair or two at your seder table, please contact Rabbi Reimer at 973-379-1555 or mreimer@tbj.org .
