Religious School

Confirmation Class 5771

“Educate the child according to his way,

even when he will be old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

Welcome to the Congregation B’nai Jeshurun’s Religious School where learning is fun, challenging and engaging and where friendships are formed that will last a lifetime.

From Kindergarten through twelfth grade, students learn to embrace

  • Middot (Jewish values)
  • Torah (learning)
  • Avodah (worship)
  • Tikkun Olam (social justice)

With the clergy, teachers, parents, and fellow classmates, students experience the joy of Jewish communal life and forge lasting connections with Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel) and Klal Yisrael (the Jewish people).

In each grade, we focus on four key elements:

  • Jewish Studies
  • Hebrew
  • Family Education
  • Curriculum Enrichment

We encourage close communications among faculty, staff and the families of our students so that we can provide the best experience possible for our synagogue’s children. If ever any special circumstances arise affecting your child or your family, please let us know. We will do everything in our power to accommodate you.
