A Musically Inspired MLK Shabbat service featuring Lapidus & Myles: Music for People of Conscience

Join us for a musically inspired MLK Shabbat service featuring Lapidus & Myles: Music for People of Conscience. An interfaith duo from Atlanta, GA with ties to MLK’s Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church as well as Atlanta’s oldest synagogue: The Temple, Rabbi Micah Lapidus and Gospel singer Melvin Kindall Myles, will inspire us with their original music as well as their warm personalities. Their message is one of hope, solidarity, and empowerment as well as the belief, shared by MLK, that “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.” While new to most of us, their music is instantly singable, and they have acquired much wisdom and insight as they have traveled the country together since officially joining forces in December of 2021. You can check out their music here.
