Headshots of Dr. Jonathan Schanzer and Pouya Lavian

Join us for a special conversation with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies at TBJ. With speaker Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, a former terrorism finance analyst at the U. S. Department of the Treasury, in conversation with Pouya Lavian, Greater MetroWest community member and finance leader. They will discuss:

Local manifestations of antisemitism and Israel’s new reality:

  • What is going on with our college campuses and local communities?

  • How do international organization like the United Nations aid our enemies?

  • Are we facing serious escalation in the Middle East and beyond?

Dr. Schanzer and his team have been at the forefront of uncovering the backers of student organizations that applaud antisemitism and the atrocities of October 7 and are experts on matters relating to Israel, her neighbors and US foreign policy.
