Welcome to Temple B'nai Jeshurun, fondly referred to as TBJ by its members and friends. Since our very beginning, all have received a warm welcome in our congregation. Established in 1848, we are the first Reform Congregation in New Jersey to affiliate with the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, now called the Union for Reform Judaism.
Our worship, our religious education programs for children and adults, and our friendship are traditions worth passing on to all generations. Childcare (Shabbat Kids Club) is available during 6:15 pm services. .

The TBJ Mission Statement
Our Temple family strives to teach and cultivate an understanding of and a love for the Jewish spiritual heritage; to strengthen the bonds of loyalty with Jews everywhere; to bring about a better world for all people through the teaching and the practice of universal righteousness and brotherhood and sisterhood; and to advance the cause of Liberal Judaism in America and throughout the world.
